Warrant, hailing from the heart of Hollywood's 80s glam scene, burst onto the scene in 1984 with their blend of hard rock anthems and soaring power ballads. Though their peak success wouldn't come until the late 80s and early 90s, they quickly gained notoriety for their energetic live shows and frontman Jani Lane's charismatic vocals.

Their 1989 double-platinum debut, "Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich," catapulted them to stardom. The album spawned two major hits: the power ballad "Heaven," which skyrocketed to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, and the rebellious rocker "Down Boys," showcasing their dual musical personality.

Building on their momentum, 1991's "Cherry Pie" delivered another double-platinum success, fueled by the title track's suggestive lyrics and catchy riff. Warrant maintained their commercial appeal with singles like "Uncle Tom's Cabin" and "I Saw Red," solidifying their place in the glam metal pantheon.

However, internal conflicts and changing musical tastes led to a decline in the late 90s. Lane's struggles with addiction further challenged the band, resulting in multiple line-up changes and inconsistent releases. Despite these difficulties, Warrant remained a dedicated touring act, keeping their music alive for their loyal fanbase.

Although Jani Lane tragically passed away in 2011, Warrant continues to tour and record with a new singer, Robert Mason. Their legacy lives on through their infectious hooks, powerful vocals, and undeniable influence on the hard rock and glam metal genres.
